It Is Like Comparing a Hyundai to a Mercedes
Biph Thursday, April 2, 2009 Comparing a Mac to a Windows PC is like comparing a Hyundai to a Mercedes. Mac addicts are not only fools who have no idea of the value of a dollar, but they sure as hell can't come up with a good analogy either. It is nothing at all like comparing a Hyundai to a Mercedes. They are both computers, and they both do the same things. There aren't luxurious leather seats or ass warmers, it's a friggin' computer. Also, these douchebags may not know it, but their false analogy upon inspection may not be such a good idea.
Let's pretend their precious Mac really is a Mercedes to the Windows PC's Hyundai. If that is the case, I'll have to take the Hyundai. For you see, Mercedes spend far and away more time in the shop, not doing what they were built for. Also, I have to pay more on my insurance, because if the expensive car gets hurt, it costs more to fix. Also, the liability is higher, because the actuaries have determined that people who waste money on expensive cars are more likely to speed and generally ignore the laws of the road. Which seems pretty fitting, considering the Mac assholes all love to quote how they are so stupid as to not have even basic virus protection. Because there has "never been a Mac virus". Security through obscurity? If it really is true that there has never been a Mac virus, how the hell is it possible that virus protection exists for the Mac? How do they have virus definitions for virii that do not exist? Complete denialist dipshits. The elitism of Mac users is ridiculous, they are driving the Mercedes of the computing world. So how is it that the Hyundais can end up costing more than the Mercedes? How are there Ferraris in the Hyundai family? Because not all Windows machines are the bottom of the line el cheapo computers that Mac asshats think they are. Sure there are value PCs, and there are even value Macs. You can get a Mac for $400, that's a cheap piece of crap Mercedes. After years of claiming that Macs are so vastly superior to PCs, Macs have stopped selling in their record numbers because of the current economic conditions. PC sales are still relatively strong, but Mac numbers are down. All car sales are down. From the lowliest Hyundai to the most awesomest Mercedes. Price isn't an issue to Mac-Douches, they are happy to blow money for something that just works. Not because they're idiots, because they are elitist and believe themselves smarter than the unwashed masses who use Windows PCs. They're feeble argument for getting the simpler computer is that their vastly superior minds should not be bothered constantly working to keep their computer operational. It only takes maybe 2 hours to get a PC up and running, longer if you need programs installed above and beyond the original built in applications. On Macs, all you have to do is rub your privates and dream of the application you want, and it is automagically on your computer. Face it Macboys, you spent more than a PC user. You do not have a bigger wang because of it, you are not living a happier life because of it. The vast majority of people only need simple word processing, email, and a web browser, if you really think the experience of simple tasks is that much better on a Mac, enjoy it. But to spend your precious and expensive time on the Internet spouting that your computer is better is simply ludicrous. Keep it in perspective, your computer is not giving you a backrub while you're on the Internet, the experience is nearly the same on both computers. If 2 hours is worth $300 more to you and you have the money, great for you. But I don't need a clear moron explaining to me how they are superior for paying more than they are paid hourly for an extra hour of email usage. Print View Thank you for visiting biph.com.
